What to Sew With Robert Kaufman Mammoth Junior Cotton Flannel Fabrics

Robert Kaufman is known for producing high-quality fabrics, and their Mammoth Junior Cotton Flannels are no exception. These beautiful fabrics are made from 100% cotton and are 112cm (44 inches) wide. They are brushed which makes them soft and perfect for creating cosy and warm garments. How about sewing yourself some dreamy pyjamas, stylish shirts, or trendy shackets. I have just the sewing patterns for you!

The Tilly and the Buttons Jaimie Bottoms and Shorts sewing pattern is perfect if you are a beginner dressmaker, or if you are after a straightforward sewing project. Tilly's instructions are lovely and clear to follow, and these flannel fabrics are nice and stable to sew with.

If you are looking for a classic pyjama pattern then the Carolyn Pyjamas by Closet Core Patterns would be so snuggly! This pattern has a classic notched collar, curved hem, breast pocket and three sleeve lengths. You can then decide to sew either straight-legged trousers with or without a cuff, or some cuffed shorts.

The Friday Pattern Company Ilford Jacket is a versatile pattern. It has two sleeve options, an array of pocket templates and a choice of two lengths. Crafting the Ilford using this cosy flannel fabric transforms it into a comfortable shirt, perfect for keeping you warm during colder months but you can also wear it as a top layer when the weather starts to hint at a bit of warmth.

The Logan Shacket by Style Arc is an oversized jacket with slightly dropped shoulders, a two-piece shirt collar, two large breast pockets, rounded back yoke, shaped hem line, twin needle top stitching, in seam pockets and optional turn up cuffs.  This shacket would be warm and cosy to wear on cooler days but also as an over shirt as we head into spring.

Now, here comes the dilemma – which colourway of this fabric to choose?
